St Anne’s Rest House
In 1994 the diocese came up with an idea to construct a self-contained rest house with 5 bed rooms for guests/visitors. It is also a source of funding for the diocese and the income is used for the betterment of the ministry running costs.
Umoja Conference Hall
The diocese has a conference hall known as UMOJA for income generation. Umoja hall is hired for various social events such as meetings, ceremonies etc. It accommodates an average of 120 people at once. It is a highly viable project for income generation as the hall located at a strategic area close to the diocese headquarters in Masasi town. Still the conference hall is not sufficient enough to accommodate a larger number of people for bigger events like conferences. There is no big conference halls in Masasi town and most of community members, business people, officials from NGOs and various government sectors feel highly secured when using church structures for meetings.
